Holly Hill Show Stable has partnered with sister stable Holly Hill Farm to field a competitive IEA (Interscholastic Equestrian Association) team. Our team is open to members of the local community in grades 6-12, provided that the rider can participate in one group practice or private lesson at either farm at least once a week. IEA competitions operate under similar protocols as collegiate-level (IHSA) riding, meaning riders are assigned a horse from the hosting stable at random to compete on. Riders do not need their own horse to participate. This unique competition style is a true test of horsemanship and versatility, and is exceptional preparation for individuals who wish to compete on collegiate teams in later years.

Team Holly Hill has experienced significant success throughout its history, including multiple national championships and zone championships. The team has also taken a select members  to compete in the College Preparatory Invitational Horse Show in Wellington, Florida. CPI is another opportunity to gain collegiate-level experience and obtain valuable exposure for NCAA recruiting, while enjoying a uniquely affordable chance to show in Wellington. Team Holly Hill is coached by  Karla J. Galasso with assistance from Susu York, both of Holly Hill Farm. For more information about the team, please email Karla using the link here.
